Mahogany Chocolate Ltd (MC) represents the finished products for the Belize Cacao Consortium.
This is where carefully grown and hand processed fine flavor cacao beans become artisanal chocolate products.
With a production facility already in place in Belize City this is where the raw cacao beans are roasted, winnowed, cracked and packaged as cacao nibs, cacao powder and cacao butter, amongst other products.
Mahogany Chocolate (MC) has a 5-star chocolate kitchen and retail facility in “Downtown” Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, just south of San Pedro, on the famous island of Ambergris Caye, Belize.
Mahogany Chocolate’s retail store opened its doors in April 2017 and is open 7 days a week from 11am to 6pm servicing the guests and staff at the resort as well as locals and visitors. It is fully equipped with 5-star, state-of-the-art, Italian chocolate making equipment.
Headed up by our Executive Chocolate Maker, Luis Armando Choco, a native Belizean with over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of the cacao industry, we are proud to be producing true “bean to bar” products with 100% Belizean grown cacao.
Armando has full creative control over MC and all of the amazing chocolate products it produces.
Mahogany Chocolate has secured an exclusive contract to supply its amazing truffles to be placed on the pillows in each of the 305 rooms in Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, a Curio Collection by Hilton branded resort, 365 days a year.
